Defensive Carbine 2
Defensive carbine 2 picks up where DC1 leaves off.... so DC1 is a prerequisite to DC2. This course is designed to build upon skills already learned and introduce more advanced topics and techniques. It is essential that each student be familiar with the safe handling of thier firearm, have a knowledge of their rifles nomenclature, have it properly zeroed, and be capable of 100 yard accurate shots. Emphasis in this 8 hour course is on firearm safety, defensive marksmanship, and shooting on the move, shooting from cover, and team tactics.

- Battle sight index vs precision shooting
- Accelerated shots
- Multiple target engagement
- Shooting from cover
- Shooting on the move
- Engaging single and multiple targets in teams
- Transitions to pistol
What you will need for this class:
- safe, legal rifle with a minimum of 3 magazines
- safe, legal pistol with atleast 2 magazines
- sturdy pistol belt, strong side holster, and magazine holder(s)
- 500 rounds of rifle ammunition
- 100 rounds of pistol ammunition
- weather appropriate clothing (we shoot rain or shine... or cold)
- pen and note pad
- eye and ear protection
- lunch
