Defensive Shotgun 2

Defensive Shotgun 2 picks up where DS1 ends... for that reason, DS1 is a prerequisite to DS2.  In this 8 hour course, previously learned skills are reinforced through new skills and the addition of more dynamic drills.  An emphasis is placed on defensive movement, shooting from cover, room clearing, advanced shotgun manipulation, shooting in teams, and training for stress.

• One handed manipulation

What you will need for this class:

• safe, legal shotgun (any gauge)
  
• belt mounted ammunition carrier capable of holding 25 shells
  
• sturdy pistol belt, holster, and magazine pouch
  
• safe, legal pistol
• 100 rounds of pistol ammuntion
  
• 250 rounds of #6 to #9 bird shot
• weather appropriate clothing (we shoot rain or shine... or cold)
• pen and note pad
• eye and ear protection
• sling and side saddle are recommended
